The core business of Humberto Schwab (Contact) is getting individuals and groups in learning action. By using traditional philosophy, creative learning methods and future design tools, (See Tools) he stimulates people to investigate their presumptions, make explicit their values and develop goals to make plans of action.

Presumptions and values are the major qualities for our existence, for our behaviour, for our politics and for our goals. Creating awareness of the strong basis of our ideas and feelings, gives us a solid fundament for intelligent action. Learning, a value as such in human lives and society, is paramount in making plans, improving action, improving organisations, improving the quality of life. (See Activities)

The february Eurolab thinktank was held with students from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Potsdam Design Academy. The important result was that innovation of emotions in a tribal context could be a very valuable future scenario. We forget that human needs and especially our interpretation and framing of our needs and desires are the basic driving forces in the creation, designing, construction and building of our surroundings. If we want to change our environment we need to change their push forces. In investigating emotional innovation, which is directed towards changing your internal meanings and conceptions, you will finally experience basic human needs. The key values are care, learning, adventure, responsibility, truth, beauty and wisdom. For a culture as a framework of one stretch of life for one person, this is not a bad set of values. Dionysian practices should be part of the risky adventure. Because interaction between human bodies and minds is essential for our health, the culture guarantees programmed rituals to undergo these enrichments. In new context of interaction, for instance common body breathing exercises, we can experience our own innerbody in a different way. The collective goal in the tribe is reaching ever higher levels within a strong collective bodiness. The consumer desire is replaced by spiritual desire. The need for risk and adventure is embedded in play and festivities. We should study successful and sustainable ritual cultures that have a healthy practice in katharsis and other psychological reliefs.
